You have a Muslim woman going to the theatre for a D&C post mid?
Having been both the patient and the nurse in similar circumstances, I am answering from experience: If her hair will fit, give two or three of the disposable OR bonnets and help her to insure that her hair is completely covered. My braids were hip length and it took 3 bonnets, but it worked. Ive also used one of the pillow cases in the OR linen closet and helped a few other women to place their hair inside the opening where the pillow would be and tucked the excess fabric under the head. Its not fashionable, but it is easy and effective, and as we all learned in nursing school, spiritual distress will adversely affect patient wellbeing.
