Will you follow the suggestion from Energy Star to set your central?
No I won't set my thermostat to 82F in summer hot nights since I have a Solar Grid tied home. I make extra during the day and use the excess from the Grid at night. This keeps our utility from dumping power at night. Not a bad idea if a utility has a peak demznd at night but most do not. Oh by the way I make 2 to 3 times more power each month so my bill is just the connection fee of $20 a month. I have carry over at the end of the year and that covers my connection fee. I've done this since 2001.
