Is it popular to use Conan package manager for library dependencies?

Conan is relatively new, and as far as I know the the best of breed at the moment. Conan manages your the application binary interface (ABI) for libraries you use when you are building applications. Think release/debug, 32/64 bit, version 2.1/3.4 those kind of differences. Partially solved on Unix I think I would disagree, particularly if you are talking RPM etc just not the same thing, the dont know about ABI. I am currently using it myself with an instance of the Artifactory CE.( Conan is part of the JFrog so the have some street credibility there.) Besides individual users we will be integrating it in with a Jenkins CI machine. So is it perfect no, it is still under rapid development. Is it worth my time to learn and use, yes.. and that says a lot. Good Luck
