How are the medical management seats in deemed universities alloted?

Its different with all different deemed universities. The process is actually changing every year since a lot of changes were going in the procedure of making NEET the only medical entrance exam. The university with good reputations fill their seats according to the merit list as they have plenty of applicants. But in others the scenario is different. From 2016-17 Academic year, admissions are based on common entrance exam NEET. The first and second counselling is alloted by state government based on govt. Merit list. In the first counseling the seats are given to candidates who have qualified the NEET exam with 50% of marks with general category and less with the respective categories. 3rd counselling is conducted by the particular CollegeA rank list is prepared for the students who applied to the college. Accordingly admission is done. As the fees of the deemed universities is very high anybody who has qualified the exam and afford the fees (lets say min 10 lakh a year) he can get admission in any deemed university. But the no. Of studens who can afford the seats and had qualified the exam is very low so many seats left unoccupied. So to fill the seats the minimum qualifying marks are kept low( dont know the exact numbers). And then u have to pay donations to have a confirmed seat or w/o the donation if they have less applicants. Conclusion- students who have qualified in NEET exam can get in any deemed university if they can afford the fees. Who doesnt qualify the seat can also get a seat if they can afford (donation+ fees. )
