What is the outcome of getting two Bs & a C in the first quarter of?

This question cannot be answered because the key determinant is your final overall grade for the BA and this will be assessed accumulatively over the three or four year programme of study, e.g. based on all your module scores. But assuming you come out with a Third (the lowest grade for UK undergrad degrees) then it wont look impressive on your CV. Unless that Third has been acquired at, say, Oxford, Cambridge, LSE or one of the big name British universities. In which case, even with a Third youll still be reckoned to have achieved something most people cannot. If you come out with the next level grade - 2:2, then this is much better though the same conditions apply. If youve been getting Bs for most of your modules (scores around 5055) then a 2:2 seems most likely. Once you hit the 2:1 level (which equates to B+ or marks between 60 and 69 on most of your assessments) then this is considered a good degree level, regardless of university. Only students who achieve average scores of 70 across all their module assessments can hope to achieve a First on their final degree grading. Note that for British universities, scoring 70 and above on most or all your modules is considered excellent and suggests potential to go much higher, academically. British undergrad students rarely achieve marks above 85 for any single assessment. Certainly they are in the minority.
