What do you do if you have discovered that your spouse has managed to?
There isn't a lot you can do since the loan isn't in your name the loan is in both your names you are tied at the hip. What one does affects both of you. This applies to just about everything. Normally, the only time there would be any remedy would be if you were going through a divorce and the judge had froze your assets during the dissolution stage. Both of you would be forbidden from taking loans or moving funds around. If you then decided to divorce your spouse, you might be able to have that liability removed from you and put solely on your spouse by a good lawyer.
