Knowing that trauma?

Stress can change the brain. It moves, it reacts, it hurts, it changes as part of its survival. Chemical changes hurt the brain as much as booze does. But attachment is also a very powerful motivational force we are informed. Consider it a survival skill. You know I am a big fan of family re-unification. A believer in the therapeutic value of being together again when family was not the cause of the PTSD. For those households who can do that, the fighting and the no-contact-ever-again crowd arent any sort of recovery nearly as much as getting back together again is. Temporary divergence? Possibly one way to look at it if you feel the trauma did something and another thing can un-do it. I believe in that.
