How would you search for a system to manage mass amounts of data?
There is always a trade off- you can use tools for almost everything but it adds complexity and over head around maintenance of the tools. So be sure that you are not able to manage information through word and excel and genuinely need a tool.First step is to classify the data/information. Depending upon the nature of the information you can select the tools. For example for the marketing and sales related information you can use a CRM. I personally use ZOHO and i was satisfied till a couple of months ago when we wanted to create a nurture campaign which I could not achieve with Zoho.For internal collaboration and tracking you can use Trello. Its very simple and effective.The idea for selecting a tool is to be sure of the nature of information, classification and what exactly you need to achieve out of it.
