How do airlines manage routes when respective aircraft undergo B, C,?
Question: How do airlines manage routes when respective aircraft undergo B, C, or D checks? Answer: They have other Aircraft fill in. Airlines have multiple aircraft of the same type(s). They all have their own schedules when it comes down to the aforementioned checks. The same plane might not even fly the same route on a day to say basis. This is the reason you can go to any major airport, see gates filled, yet still see aircraft in hangars and some either awaiting hangar space, or to be put in service. It would be unwise of the airline to only operate exactly enough aircraft for their routes.
