Can I be "manager" of a C corp in the bylaws without being considered?

Officers are in the C suite, CEO, COO, CFO, CIO, etc. it used to be called the Executive suite, President, Vice President, Chairman of the Board, Treasurer. Possibly Executive Secretary. A Manager is generally a middle level employee, salaried but not an executive, hence not a Corporate Officer. If your C Corp has an E&O policy (Errors and Omissions or Malpractice insurance) the Officers should be listed by title. If your employer is trying to skirt the law by calling their COO a manager that could be a problem.
