Are the management of Travis Scott's concert to be held liable for?
No doubt, there will be lawsuits. No doubt, there will be many defendants listed from Travis Scott himself, the venue, the management, the security and on and on. Lawsuits will drag on for years. Judges and juries will decide which defendants are liable. Insurance companies will try to settle with the families of the dead and with the injured who lived through it. There will also likely be criminal charges. There is no excuse for what happened. Proper concert planning for decades has included having a very wide area in front of a stage and using crowd control techniques to prevent trampling and crushing. Every few years, there is a tragedy of people being crushed at an event, and it is always improper planning and/or improper behavior that is the root cause of it. The lawsuits and the criminal investigations, which are likely to happen, will reveal exactly what happened. We the public will not know exactly what happened until these investigations are well under way in the coming months and years.
